Now, the company is back with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, which is expected to launch in India in November itself and this time around, Xiaomi seems to have once again gotten the recipe right for a winner in the budget segment.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro was unveiled in Indonesia last week and apart from being the Redmi Note 5 Pro-successor, the biggest highlights of the smartphone include a quad camera setup and an even bigger display. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has become the first smartphone from the company to come with dual camera setups on both sides and given the fact that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro price in India will be around Rs. 15,000, since it was launched in Indonesia at a starting price of IDR 28,99,000 (roughly Rs. 14,500), Xiaomi might have another winner in form of its next budget offering.
As for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro price in India, there has been no official confirmation from the company while reports have suggested that the handset will be launched in India in November itself. However, in order to get an idea how the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will be priced, it should be noted that it was launched IDR 28,99,000 (roughly Rs. 14,500) for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version while the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version is priced at 32,99,000 (roughly Rs. 16,500).
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro specifications
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro sports a 6.26-inch Full HD+ (1080 × 2280 pixels) display with 19:9 aspect ratio, display notch, and 2.5D curved glass while it is powered by the Qualcomm’s Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 14nm processor clocked at 1.8GHz paired with Adreno 509 GPU. It further includes 3GB / 4GB of RAM with 32GB / 64GB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 128GB via microSD.
For optics, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features a 12-megapixel primary rear camera with 1.4μm pixel size, Dual PD focus, dual-tone LED Flash and a secondary 5-megapixel rear sensor with AI dynamic bokeh mode. At the front, there is a 20-megapixel camera with Sony IMX376 sensor and secondary 2-megapixel camera with AI portrait selfie mode.
While the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro runs Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 10 out of the box, it comes with hybrid dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD) connectivity. Other features of the smartphone include a fingerprint sensor, face unlock, an infrared sensor, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz + 5GHz) and a 4000mAh battery.
